“The Carrier” is a full length stage play. A post office in Houston's Third Ward, 2020. Supervisor M. Bell’s recent promotion threatens to drive a wedge between her and her postal carrier friends and subordinates, CCA Wendy Reed and CCA Murdock. Tensions explode when packages begin to come up missing and a Postal Inspector starts an investigation. The once airtight work family begins to buckle under the pressures of self-preservation and the struggles of their lives outside the workplace. This is a provocative and timely new play by UH Senior playwright, Patrina Randolph, about the value of relationships and the riveting effects of betrayal.
